NU’s Alyssa Solomon is leaving the Lady Bulldogs after their campaign in UAAP Season 87..–MARLO CUETO/INQUIRER.net
MANILA, Philippines — Like her teammate Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon already has plans for her post-collegiate career after National University’s title-retention bid in the UAAP Season 87.
According to Foreign Buyers Association of the Philippines (Fobap) President Robert Young, they exported around $50 million worth of mixed apparel to South Korea in 2023.
“May plans na po pero focus pa rin ako sa UAAP. May plans na after this,” said Solomon after dropping 13 points in NU’s 25-23. 25-21, 25-18 sweep of La Salle on Sunday in front of 16,000 fans at Mall of Asia Arena.

“Kapag may nandyan talaga sa harap ko focus lang talaga ako doon hindi ko muna pinapansin yung sa future kasi mangyayari yun dito muna ako sa present,” she said.

Both the two-time MVP and Solomon opted to stay and run it back this year amid the clamor to join the first-ever PVL Rookie Draft last year.

Solomon seeks to win every game in her swan song season while also wishing everyone a healthy year.
“Siguro ipanalo yung every game,” she said. “Sana healthy lahat kasi dalawang araw ang daming naiinjure yun lang talaga yung wish ko.”
